A house fit for a fairy, or there is no place like gnome.

After watching a few videos by “Creative Mom” on youtube, I felt inspired to create a fairy palace. She used plastic 2-liter soda bottles, paper mache, and aluminum foil. I had the aluminum foil. After doing a little research, I bought a 5-pound tub of Crayola Air Dry Clay from JoAnn’s.  I had a half off coupon and it seemed like the most economical option. Five pounds sounded like a lot of clay. My fairy house is made of a square tissue box and 5 plastic bottles that used to contain shampoo and conditioner. I also bought an unpainted fairy door from Amazon.

I used the entire container of clay. I painted it with craft paints and sealed it with acrylic varnish.
